Six days ahead of the Dalai Lama controversial visit to Tawang monastery in Arunachal Pradesh, Samdhong Rinpoche, Prime Minister of Tibetan Government-in-exile on Monday (November 2) has maintained that the visit is purely a spiritual one and not political as China has been claiming all the while. The reaction comes after Beijing expressed its “firm opposition" to the Lama trip to the frontier state. “Dalai Lama will visit Tawang and there as no doubt about that, said Rinpoche.
